The materials presented in this online exhibition hold various degrees of U.S. copyright. All materials that were once protected by Jacob K. Javits' rights are held by State University of New York (as per New York State Legislative Resolution S.416, A.423, adopted in March 1981). All other materials have a rights status being "Copyright Undetermined" or "In Copyright." Under the direction of the donor of funds these materials have been digitally reformatted and made accessible for educational and scholarly use only. Some documents were copied under the copyright limitation - Fair Use (U.S. Copyright Law Section 107). 

If you want to reuse any material in this collection site you must seek permission if the material is In Copyright, or decide if your use can be qualified as fair under the U.S. Copyright Law Section 107.
