Consent forms to make this oral history collection accessible as an educational resource have been signed by both the interviewers and interviewees, noted in this collection as narrators. The narrators still hold intellectual property to their historical record. Users of this colleciton may repurposes the data to conduct research in a responsible way - they can not alter the stories of the narrators/interviewees, they can use the stories and data to conduct further research. The consent form advocates for the data to be used in research, but prohibits the names of the narrators/interviewees to be used in journal and book publications.
