She's feeling more empowered than before B[hungroo] because her husband respects her more and gives her money for day to day household chores. And her husband bought her gold. Before B[hungroo], almost all the family members migrated but that stopped after B[hungroo]. The son and daughters in law still labor work at other farms. They share the water they get from Bhungroo with neighboring farmers. Now they have both winter and monsoon crops whereas before B[hungroo] they only had monsoon crops (The women try to answer the questions for her and speak too much). For praying, they place a dried coconut on their land and pray -- just a single person or a few sons.
