She also talks about moving to campus for her first year of college, the living conditions she experienced during quarantine, and how it all affected her academic and personal life.

In this interview he discusses the impact of COVID on his area, notably the housing of returning study abroad students at the Southampton campus, the decision to ask students to leave main campus, and the resulting logistics of maintaining a smaller population on campus as well as isolation and quarantine areas.

  Eduardo Diaz is the Interim Director for Residential Education and Community Standards at Stony Brook University. In this interview, he discusses his role overseeing graduate and upperclass housing areas on the main campus as well as the challenges faced in implementing the campus shutdown in spring 2020. He also describes what living on campus was like during the shutdown and the challenges of operating housing in fall 2020.

  Dave Ecker is the Director of iCreate at Stony Brook University. In this interview, he discusses the activities of iCreate during the pandemic, particularly their effort to design and mass-produce face shields for the Stony Brook University Hospital. He describes his collaboration with local public libraries as well as the impact of the pandemic on the operations of iCreate, on the students he works with, and on his home life.

In this interview, she describes her experiences in Langmuir Hall as students were ordered to leave. She also discusses her life at home in Queens during isolation, the transition to all-online classes, and how she kept in contact with her friends and the university.
