I I may than“ a Dr. Lantin's hesitsncy in joining the hospital staff appears to be considerable, and I have followed your note with a letter of my own, indicating the extent to which this community does have a large Jewish pupulation, and the integration of the Jews in the community. on you once again in that I have just received' George Shaw, whom you may already know since he the Mandalay from 1956 to 1959. I have, within the last week, received an invitation from the CINP program committee, to participate actively in the 1964 Birmingham meetings. I accepted gladly, and now look forward to being in Europe during most of August and part of September. For this reason, George was and I feel that it would be unwise for me to travel now. I have urged him to join me on this trip and I think may be possible that both he be and Turan in Birmingham during the well as myself, will as week in September. first it Itil, I would be most pleased to have an opportunity to visit with you either our plans are before or after that meeting.
