The question, whether there is anything more than noise in the waking EEG, remains an interesting one, particularly since the technical issues of recording and analysis have been solved so handsomely. Now that the ECT issues are fairly cut and dried, I have decided to take time off the second half of the year and write a book on Brain and Behavior: Pharmaco-EEG Revisited. I will emphasize theory, much as I did with Convulsive Therapy. If Iam successful, we should be able to get reviewers of NNchN to look at the article with a fresh eye a year hence. My best regards.
