There is a dearth of good data on ECT usage, and much argument, whether usage is increasing or decreasing, whether the indications are changing, and whether consideration is being given to the effects of electrode placements, current type, dosage, frequency of seizures, seizure durations monitoring, and other technical details. I enclose a copyright release which should be signed to accompany the article. The article "Reevaluation of ECT ~6: Right Tempemparietal vs Bitemporal Electrode Placement in Schizophrenia", is scheduled to appear in the third issue of CONVULSIVE THERAPY, in September this year.
