Our experience, however, led one of my associates at Stony Brook, Lawrence Greenberg, to write a letter which we published (Convul. Therapy 2: 61-62, 1986). A copy is enclosed for your information. There have been a few case reports of the use of ECT in NMS, and a few reviews of NMS as a syndrome, but no comparative study has been brought to my attention. I enclose a copy of the citations in our files with regard to NMS and ECT; it may be of use in your report.
