I was not satisfied that we had done an adequate analysis of clozapine's EEG profile. I considered it an important study; first, because the compound was being reported as successful as an antipsychotic, and secondly, because if its antipsychotic activity is proven, and its EEG profile is outside that of established antipsychotic substances, it would deserve a place as a unique prototypic substance in EEG classification schemata, the head of a new class. Gil Honigfeld was unable to accommodate my furtha' studies, but they should still be done. I also enclose a copy of Morihisa's review of the EEG data in schizophrenic patients.
