It is interesting and ambitious, and it is about the ambition reflected in many studies that I anticipate the most criticism. am pleased to work with you in developing these studies, and include the necessary letter of agreement. For the curriculum vitae, I have marked up a copy of the historical pages from my record and given you some of the more recent citations which may be relevant to this application. These can be used to make up the appropriate historical page in the application. 1 also include two reports that may be of particuir interest -- one by Regestein and Reich that is in press in the second issue of CONVULSIVE THERAPY; and one by Dr. Dubovsky that reviewed for Hosp 95 Commun Psych. i presume the report is accepted; the copy is from my files, but it may not be cited as yet. 1 Also, the most recent issue of JAMA (May 3, 1985; pg 2525-2529) has an excellent article on the effects of ECT on ECG and serum cardiac enzyme levels by Dec, Stern and Welch which must be cited in your application.
