There is something about the British use of language that is delightful, and nowhere is it better seen than in your addresses. Since reading your book, I made a search of other literature, and came across the book, "Using Computers in Clinical Practice: Psychotherapy and Mental Health Applications", edited by Marc D. Schwartz (Haworth Press, New York, 1984, 510 pp.). It promises much, but there is little in it that is meaty except for examples of machine scoring of simple psychological tests. They do refer to computer aided diagnostic schedules for clinical psychiatrists, but these are still complex and require main frame type machines for the programs as now written. From time to time, the BMJ presents book reviews of non-medical books. One such recent review (BMJ @1095, 7 April 1984) touts John Collee's Kingsley's Touch, as an outstanding first novel by a young physician, 3 medical mystery. The book is published by Allen Lane (6.95 Pds) and is unavilable through our booksellers.
