I regret that it wéuld be a difficult responsibility for me to attempt to present the data on drug abuse at this time. Since leaving the New York Medical College, I have turned my attention to other interests and I have no personal acquaintance with the latest developments in narcotic antagonists or cannabis-- two subjects that were my interest when I was at the College. I am confident that Dr. Resnick, who has sustained the program, will be able to present the latest information on the antagonists. Should you wish to include a review of cannabis, I suggest you call on Dr. Rhea Dnrnbush (now at the Reproductive Biology Research Fdn, #910 Forest Park, St Louis, Mo.) who is editing two volumes on cannabis summarizing our studies as well as a conference which she chaired in January. A third candidate would be Dr. Arthur Zaks. Arthur has developed one of the most active of the methadone treatment programs in the city. He has continued his research interest in carrying ourtstudies of levomethadyl in his practice.
