Professor Hisotashi Mitsuda

Osaka Medical College

Osaka, Takatsuki, Japan
Dear Professor Mitsuda,

It was a good fortune that arranged our meeting on the
sands of Waikiki, and I thank you for the recommendation to
Dr. Tesuo Fukuda. He has been so kind as to send me some of
the reprints of his work, particularly the work in electroseizure therapy, and I am pleased that these have given me a
better idea of the excellent work that has been done in Japan.
Professor Jan Otto-Ottoeson of Sweden is organizing
the panel on EST at the forthcoming World Congress of Psychiatry
and I have sent him the suggestion that Dr. Fukuda be consdiered
among the participants. I am sure that he will let Dr. Fukuda
know directly of the development of the panel.

I look forward to meeting

you again in Hawaii in 1977.

Sincerely yours,
a.
