Dr. Nikolovski was assigned to outpatient clinical evaluations of
psychoactive substances at the Metropolitan Hospital. The initial exper—
iences were difficult, since the population was largely lower—class and Spasish—spesking, providing all of no with serious handicaps in the evaluations.
Oliver did well. however, and became a principal assistant to Dr. Jovan Simeon,
the unit leader. Together. they completed evaluations of some antidepressant
and antianxiety compounds in these outpatients.

In 1970, the Department chairmen, Dr. Alfred Freedman, asked that I
transfer Dr. Nikolovski to a newly established community clinic, where he needed
a principal psychiatric therapist. He has continued to do yeomen service at
the College in this position.
Lately, he has been helpful in evaluations of a putative memoryenhancing compound, studies that have been undertaken by my co~vorker, Rhea

Dornbush, Ph.D.

Oliver has extensive clinical experience.

He

is intensely loyal,

dependable and reliable. He is meticulous in his relationships with the staff
and the patients. He is personable and likechle, although at times he appears
ohseqnious.

training qualify him for that posi—
tion described in your letter as functioning in an outpatient clinic with 255
of his time dedicated to research. It is a pleasure_to recommend him.

I believe his experience

and

Sincerely yours,
