A similar lecture course is given to psychiatric'residents. In each of
three
their
years their exposure varies, so that first—year residents have weekly
seminars and lectures; second~year students have about ten hours; and third—year
students have lectures about special topics such as childhood payehopharmacology,

geriatrics psychopharmacology,

and drugs of abuse.

Psychiatric residents get an extensive experience in clinical psycho—
pharmscology since the leader of our residencyyttaining program is one of my
students who is convinced that hospitalized patients are benefitiddnnst+bvyblbe
