The laboratory is running well and Peter, Ira and Maureen are the mainstays of the lab. We are very interested in the relation of EEG to blood level of drugs and hope to make acme contribution through this effort. The studies run well and our principal difficulty now lies in the statistics rather than the data collection. Should you find yourself in the east, come and visit; and should you find the heat and the reactionary thinking of Telas too much for you, come back to work in the heady free climate of the eastern seaboard. Whenever someone tells me he is going to the miduest or the south, images of my feur years in St. Louis thrust them— selves into my consciousness, and I am reminded again and again of the stubborn, reactionary and preJudiced attitudes of the community, in which I worked. This attitude was not limited to the locals, but included the professionals at the University as well.
