VA While we have obtained the support of the local staff at the Hospital and have a fine facility, VACO has decided to end the DDTC funding on December 31, 197h. They have indicated they will provide a decrease in the budget fer the second half of l97h and none fer 1975. This support is the mainstay of our program and we cannot sustain our effbrts without it. VA With the funds remaining in the contract, we can sustain the project through the third quarter of the year, provide followuup for some patients during the fourth quarter with an orderly termination of personnel and transfer of patients to other treatments with the present termination date of the contract. Unless the present circumstances change, we will be unable to participate in this interesting and imyortant study program beyond the present contract period. Sincerely yours, Fink, M. D.
