Re: HSM h2o70—98 Dear Mr. Kharlton, we have completed the reports and delivered these with extensive supporting documents to Dr. Steven Szara of NIDA, completing the project portions of the contract HSM h2-70-98, Study of Chronic Hashish Users in Greece. I am enclosing a copy of a detailed letter reporting the status of the project to Dr. Szara, indicating that we have been unable to complete the data analyses of the withdrawal phase of the study within this time limit. we are progressing with these analyses and shall supplement our public reports with data from these analyses. It has been technically unfeasible for Professor Stefanie staff during the last months of the study to in New York. We have arranged for a major report on the results of this study to be presented to the American Psychiatric Association in May, and we wish Professor Stefania to make this presentation. As we have indicated, there are allocated funds from the contract portion of the study that remain unallocated at this to send one of his work with us time.
