During that time he was active both in the treatment of patients and the train» inig of residents. of my division. He also participated in the research programs Since leaving Hillside, he has been in active practice in Uestchester. From time to time, I have heard of his work; most recently, in his role as consulting psychiatrist to the elderly at the Guild for the Blind he has worked actively with my mother who tas a social worker at that institution. In these relationships, I have always found Dr. Lefkowits sincere, dependable, and considerate. He is a fine physician. In his recent interestiin community activities, I believe he will make the contribution which we would expect of Fellows of the A.P.A. I endorse his promotion and election without reservation.
