The Association can make $1,500 available for editing, thereby aubventing the voluae'o coat to the reader. of the Mr. Erlbaum ECT volume. In diacueaing The contract includes our connittuent to deliver the manuscripts by the end of February, with the volume to be issued in September. Mr. Erlbauu sent me a sample cepy of a book ieaued by his group and compares favorably with recent psychiatric volumes. Furthermore, the volume will require no typing by my staff, for the text will he not by linotype. it If the contract in satisfactory, please sign and return to me. As to what has to be done this month. there are three things that are required: soon as 1. Your report to the Conference should be submitted as practicable, but no later than nid~February. 2. Your review and editing of the reports sent to you, for such comments as you may wish to make, particularly to avoid inconsiat~ encies in the volume. 3. An overall summary of the meeting wee part of our committment Such a summary was requested for the use of the various NINE committees and for publication. It is my understanding that Dan Fteedman has agreed to review these summaries for the Archives of’GoneraZ Paychiatry. Although we have agreed to publish the summaries separately, may be advisable to include them in the volume as well.
