The study did not get off the ground, principally because the investigator suddenly left the V.A., and I have not replaced him. Recently I wrote a summary of some of our EEG studies from the point of View of bio~availability, and enclose a copy. The subject of blood and brain levels for drugs in intriguing. One would anticipate good correlations, but for many drugs, a blood~ brain barrier seems to operate, or, the CNS effects seem to exhibit step functions, as with lithium and cycloserine. I hope that you will find some way to measure the as carefully and as reliably as the blood measures! Good luck, and my best regards.
