I am writing about another question. In working with the Greeks, I was told about a prior study of hashish by Dr. M. G. Stringaris, published in German. After much travail, I obtained a copy of the original and asked a translator to make the text comprehensible in English. She has completed the first section (24 pages). I am enclosing a copy of her translation. Is it within the Commissioner's activities to use such a text and data, and can the Commissioner support the translation? The text is 66 pages with an additional 33 pages of case histories. My best regards.
