Supplies for 2 days at a time only are kept on the unit. Urines are collected from patients one at a time by a male aide (psychiatric assistant). We are using methadone as a comparison for L—alpha-acetylnethadol; and the filed protocol is the only operational protocol at present. At an earlier time, methadone was the standard for cyclazocine and that protocol was filed with Sterling Winthrop, for submission under their IND for cyclazocine.
