I had the opportunity to has an IND but the restrictions for human trial are severe. To date he has increased d dosages gradually to a dose (he could not recall) which seemed He insufficient to alter mood or behavior. He does have extensive laboratory data, primarily blood, urine and EEG measurements. These have been summarized in a report to the Aachiveb 06 Genenaz Rbychlattg, but the report has not yet been accepted for publication. In addition, he has animal toxicology studies in progress. He knows (3 generations of mice) of Plotman's public statement but diacounts the evidence as inadequate. One basis for his interest is a review of 19th centurj literature in which he noted many claims of therapeutic benefit. I was impressed with his enthusiasm and interest. He has a good reputation, and while the evidence for psychoactivity is slim, I would like to hear him discuss his work in public.
