It is an interesting suggestion, that the memory and EEG effects may require hours to "mature". In one group of patients we did try to assess memory changes at 3 hours postseizure but the study was incomplete, and we are unable to contribute to the hypothesis from these data. Our recent EEG data does not allow a test of the suggestion. We are writing the protocol for a new study, however, and if we are able, will include some serial EEG recordings to try to answer the question. Thanks again for the opportunity to read this report.
