I brought your studies to his attention, but he already knew of them. One of the studies which he wishes to undertake is a reassessmnt of Lithium therapy in manics with concurrent studies of caleimn levels in phases of depression. Another program which is of special interest to me is the study of Ditran and its blocking agents. For this latter study, we are interested in analyses in spinal fluid of acetylcholine and clalineestemses. While we have some good ideas and can carry out the clinical and pharmacological studies, we are at present, stymied by a ladc of a biodmmist who can carry out such investigations.
