We wish to develop a more rapid and safe method of administering electroconvulsive therapy with minimal memory-loss. the The subjects will be those appropriately referred for staff of Kirby Hospital. EC? by This protocol (in a prior draft) has previously been approved the Research Committee of New York Medical College and by the Commissioner of Hospitals for Metropolitan Hospital. by The work will be undertaken by personnel assigned to Kirby Hospital from the Division of Biological Psychiatry of the New York Medical College, and will not require direct costs by the State. us will need 2 rooms, one for an EEG libsratory and one for an interview room; and any modifications will be subject to your approval and at our cost.
