Davidoff, studies of lactate in anxiety were undertaken last year, and confirmed the observations of Pitts and McClure. Since we added very little that was new, we did not see the need to describe our observations in detail, and simply published a letter confirming the fact that we were able to replicate the Pitts and McClure experiment in every detail. Our ' Pitts suggested that therapeutic trials with propranolol we have not undertaken this experiment. might be tested , but Unfortunately, this observation is not in the popular eye and I know of no one in upstate New York doing this type of work.
