A meeting on this subject, attended by faculty from various medical centers and industry, was held at the Academy of Medicine on June 4. It was the concensua of the workers, that the results of the early studies were much better than the press had reflected, and that further study was ind eed warranted. The editorial in Science highlights the lack of general on the role of the antagonists or the results of the studies. Perhaps, a small summary in your newsletter would information early helpful in bringing this information to the attention of other agencies of industry and government that may have antagonists that warrant testing, or who face the problem in the community and wish to be informed as to all the available methods of treatment and be research.
