I was pleased that you did recommend a section on BBC and psychiatry for the WPA, but I regret to tell you that such a suggestion has not been accepted. In Mexico, I met with Dr. Ramon de la Fuente, secretary for the Mexico City meeting, who had just returned from London. He said that more than 20 groups requested separate sections, and that the WPA Committee selected those they thought were relevant and important. inquired as to whether they would assist us to hold a separate meeting in association with the World Congress, Dr. de la Fuente became visibly upset and indicated, that while he could not prevent our meeting, he would neither incourage nor assist us. When I Andrzej is visiting with us these days, and I trust will able be to report both on the wonderful time in Mexico City, and the progress in our laboratories.
