Professor Schwartz was with us during 1967 and 1968 as a project leader on a study of the modeling of electroencephalographic responses to psychotropic drugs. He developed a physical model of the EEG response to pentothal, and completed an important report now being considered for publication. His contribution represents a significant addition to the body of theories and methodologies of electroencephalography. The scope of Professor Schwartz's formal training as you must know, unusually wide, covering as it is, does the physical, biological and social sciences.
