The meetings in San Diego were very fine, particularly the sessions celebrating the anniversary of Berger. The sessions on psychiatry were dominated by the fine presentations of Dongier and Small. The sessions on drug therapies were done poorly and you were missed, for your substitute had no experience and little knowledge (K. Killam). Our session was attended by 24 and the discussion was very animated. There was much disseneion about the role of EEG in psychiatry, but effects were discussed, there when the data about drug was good agreement. I am about the meeting and will send you a preparing a report copy when it is ready. Pep Panpiglione and V. Longo attended. They indicated that the summary of the Liege meeting had been completed and they seemed to recall receiving a version of the report from you, after the summary (preliminary) which I had prepared had been received. Is the final summary of the Liege symposium completed ? If so, I weuld appreciate the opportunity to review it before it is finally published-~ if that is 81111 possible. Has Professor Bobon accepted the material for publication in a journal ? which ? I hope to have the honor and opportunity to continue our discussions soon. The Berger Society may yet be born, and perhaps we will have the pleasure of discussing our interests then, or at a sooner date. Professor Roubicek also attended the sessions in San Diego and New York, and expresses his best regards, and trusts that it was not ill health that prevented this trip. He is planning to visit his family in Munich next month and be able to call on you, en route. my best personal regards.
