The topic ”Drug Abuse symposium next and Addiction! is of particular interest to us and perhaps we should participate. You may know that we have been studying narcotic antagonists in the treatment of opiate dependence for more than three years and a presentation on the subject ”Narcotic Antagonists in the Study and Therapy of Opiate Dependence" would permit a review of our experience with cyclazocine, naloxone, tybamate and methadone. Given the time, we would also discuss the EEG changes and heroin challenges. In this report, and Arthur Zaks. I do not know my co-authors will be Drs. Alfred M. Freedman if marijuana and cannabis have become a problem in Germany, but if you wish, Dr. Freedman would consider a report on our experimental studies of marijuana and THC ("Experimental Studies of Marijuana and THC in Volunteers“). I trust this reaches you in time. Our meeting on September 25, on EEG and psychiatry was quite interesting and I believe successful. The group did not wish to organize a Berger Society as yet, but did think that we should meet again, probably on the occasion of the meeting of the World Psychiatric Association in 1971. To that end, I have agreed to try to arrange such a symposium and have already written to the organizers of the meeting. My best regards.
