Washington, 0.0. 20005 Gentlemen: I would like to apply on behalf of Mr. Heywood Zeidman stipend awarded by the PMA in the program of medical student traineeships in clinical pharmacology. for a Mr. Zeidman, a freshman medical York Medical College, has become student enrolled at interested in a research project involving narcotic antagonists. He will attempt to develop a method of administration for naloxone and/or cyclazocine to be released at a steady rate to provide extended antagonism to heroin use. New This project will involve both laboratory and clinical research with heroin dependent patients. He fill participate in studies of antagonist administration, heroin challenges, 255, which are part of the treatment of heroan dependence. He possesses a Master of Science degree in pharmacology and has completed many required medical school courses.
