Representatives of one of the development companies indicated In a recent Academy that there was a need fer additional medical service. This Department of Psychiatry has extensive treatment, research and teaching programs in community mental health. We have talked of possibilities of expanding our programs to other communities. to allow for the insights which come from comparative studies. I do not know what facilities for psychiatric care are if there is either a need for or an interest in the development of a community mental health be able to fulfill such progran, it is possible that we may available in Freeport, but a serv ce. would be pleased to hear from the approoriate agency of the Authority regarding this suggestion.
