These compounds had been requested by members of the staff. They include flophonazino onanthata, haloperidol. thiothixene and tybamate. The Committee‘s recommendations have been approved by the Chairman of the Department. Dr. Alfred M. Freedman. Fluphenazine enaothata was recommended for admission of a new drug to the formulary. for use limited to the Department . of Psychiatry. lhe other three compounds were recommended for trial periods of 6 months and that the manufacturer be requested to mate trial supplies available to the pharmacy. If these recommendations are approved by the appropriate committees of the hospital.
