The date of issue of the actual grant award was “/19/68, although the project period was 1/1/68 through 12/31/68. You may recall that I had inquired as to the delay in receiving this renewal award letter because it seemed necessary to visit the University of Istanbul during the month of February to provide the data for presentation at the 1968 meeting of the CINP. Based on our understanding that the revised budget request had been approved by the Council, the Chairman of the Department approved this foreign travel. The total cost was $779.05. I would like your assistance in having the approved budget for HH—13358 revised to include this sum ($779.05) for foreign travel in 1968.
