A few weeks ago, in order to keep the study going, we sent a small supply of higher concentrated tablets iron France. I examined the records and saw 7 patients receiving high dose fluphenazine. I have Just returned from a ‘ ‘ ’ - _ Three of the patients who had failed to respond to standard doses of phenothiazines have shown a dramatic improvement with 300 to 500 mg of fluphenazine daily. 0f the 7 patients, 5 had received between 100 and 600 mg daily, up to l0 days. ~In one patient I saw was ninimum patient who extrapyramidal'symptons but in the others. there rigidity, obvious only on fine testing. exhibited the most rigidity was part of series, receiving 30 mg daily. I was most impressed that the very high dose The one a low dose was safe (in 7 patients) and apparently useful.'
