Dear Nina.

I.was very pleased to receive your letter. and I found a"
review of the cancapt lists most interestthg.
,The concept

numbers and titles that reflect my present interests
are
enclased. and except for a fnw places where l was unclear

ihcluded each descriptor) I believe as
these‘
are‘sufficiently specific to limit'the number of titles which

.It is clear that this system is dependent on the
of the coders. and you must be callecting'valuable dataability
as to
the qualities necessary for subh‘work. QOur own system broke
down when we required the
descriptors frOm the
and
than checked them. Nevertheless I.look ferward scientists
to seeing the
output from year system.Since returning to New York have deleted my timé to
'reestablishing the computer~EEG facility (it is now operational
and a second EEG laboratory will be completed this month);
the
clinical research units (there are three ~ an 0P8 unit fer new
drugs; a 25 bed in-patient unit for narcotic addiction; and a
25 bed unit for acute mentally ill and new
treatments); and the
psychopharmacology teaching pregram. ~I have had no time to re»
establish the library programs although we have the HIP—EEG
cards in duplicate and I hepe to put a programmer on the problem

Having the Academy of Medicine around the corner has been
of help. I now have a iibrary card that permits me to visit in
the evenings. But time is stiii short - even less than in Missouri
and so I have to depend on the journals that cross my desk, and
now, to your 591.
Many

thanks again.

And

give

my

best regards to

Sincerely yours,
