IBM has indicated that they will be able to deliver the 1800 earlier than I anticipated in the application, with the delivery date now set for the first week in May. Dear Insofar as we have not had an award to date, and there has been some delay in the expenditures, I am writing, with the perndssion of the appropriate college authorities, that the initial year of this project be started on April 1, 1967, rather than the requested January 1 date. If this is possible, the expenditures, bookkeeping, etc., will be facilitated. Thank you for your cooperation.
