I have reviewed the graphs and the data which you gave me
of the barbiturate—stimulant EEG study with a View to selecting
the EEG criteria which.may best characterize the drug related
changes. First, I emphasized those variables which had at least
four periods of significant differences of the twenty time
periods studied. After that, I reviewed each of the graphs for
"trends" in order to select additional variables.

It

soon became apparent that on a number of items, the
various drugs could be distinguished at different time periods

identified in the attached table. We have the
