—

Dear Milos ,

for your letter of October 19. I had a very
pleasant meeting with Dr. Vinar in Madrid and I think it was
a well run session.
Thank you

No, I did not receive samples of l— and dl-cycloserine
which you describe as leaving Prague in August. If these had
been received in Missouri, I am sure that my aseciates would
have sent it on to me. However, I will be in St. Louis at the
end of the week, and I will specifically inquire as to whether
such a package had been received.

Dr. Simeon
hope to be able

and we

joint studies soon thereafter.

I have just received a letter from Dr. Bradley indicating
that the legends for the figures for your paper in the symposium
"Anticholinergic Drugs and Brain Function in Animals and Men"
were missing. I reread my copy of your paper and see that you
have included the figures without a description, assuming that
the text describes each figure accurately enough. It would be
helpful if you would provide legends for each figure separately,
and send these directly to Dr. Bradley.
As I told you in Washington, I am unhappy that I have not
renewed many of my subscriptions for journals, since in Missouri
almost all the journals for the library came first to me. I am
now establishing some other subscriptions. In the meantime, I
have asked try secretary to send you each of the journals that I
receive, except for the EDS journal which I wish to keep.

-2-—

In an earlier letter you were kind enough to invite me to
to Europe in January. I do not think this is possible as
I am in the midst of a new program and what seems delightful and
possible in the early sunmer becomes very difficult six months
later. But, many thanks again for your kind invitation.

Again,
Washington.

my

thanks for your participation in the meetings in
best regards.
