Dear 'Iuran,
Enclosed is the manuscript of the delirium paper with the
corrected references. Not only did we correct those marked by
the editor, but there were two or three additional ones that
were no longer in press. We have corrected the text to show
the new reference numbers. Rather than increasing the number
of errors by ‘retyping the whole text, I believe it is sufficiently
clean with the corrections to be easily handled by an editor.
Secondly, I am enclosing a final copy of the digital computer
paper which has been submitted to Drs. Kline and Laska. The
proper citation is as indicated in No. 20 of the list of references
in the delirium paper.

numerous

criteria which distinguish drug effects! Cong'atulations! The
next step is to graph some of the present data and then to select
those criteria which are most general. If these make sense to us,

will then carry out a discriminant function analysis for three
sub-groups: barbiturates and placebo; stimulants and placebo;
barbiturates and stixmilants.

the demonstration especially, if NIH approves the present applica—

and if I get a positive reply, will then ask Don to reprogram at
Washington University. He tells me that he will not use the NIP
staff and that this programming will not interfere with the MIP
operations. However, I believe that a most inwtant demonstration
