It a short As you know, not only are these studies clinical in mture, but for most of them, the EEG and clinical laboratory data have received Special attention. The report on trifluperidol is' published and those on thiothixene and fluphenazine decanOate, cycloserine, butaperazine and metronidazole are all in various stages , with our expectation that they will be completed by the end of the year. thioridazine , chlordiazepoxide and combined has been completed and the behavioral data analyzed. The data is now being analyzed and when that is oanpleted, the reports will be prepared. C and EEG The study comparing T During the past few months in Missouri, studies on netronidazole, (comparison with perphenazine), cyclazocine in depression, and dilantin and thioridazine in adolescent behavior disorders have been in progress. 'Ihese studies are under Dr. Itil's direct superP—5277 vision and responsibility. Part of the financial support of these studies is caning from MH~ll$80 and 11381. In New York, in part with the support of MH-12567, we are studying cyclazocine in the treatrent of narcotic addition and comparing it to methadone maintenance in the treatment of depressives. These are clinical studies , although it is my hope that an EEG laboratory will be established during the next few months.
