Hillside Hospital and Massachusetts Mental Health Center had global ratings making it difficult to assess the contribution of each factor of the Menninger system (Table II)o For this study the Menninger syndrome rating was compared to the global ratings of the other institutions, Table B. II Inter—hospital Comparison 1» The Sociopsychological Variables distribution of the variables of social class, age, education and California F Scale score is presented in Table III.
