Dear Dr. Bradley:

It is a pleasure to accept the invitation of the Program
Committee of the GIMP to participate in the plmning of a
symposium on Neurophemooloy. I lodt forward with keen
anticipation working with you‘ Following the Committee '8
suggestion, I am taking thin opporfimity to open our

mating on the general subject of EEG md psychoplume-logy review ohms induced by psydzotmpic drugs in
psychotic subjects, whacking differences between schizophrenic

and depressive subjects and portraying drug specific pettems
1961); a general overview of EEG md behavior (Yale,
1953); nottodolow of oonputer techniqms‘ (Washington, 196%);
and drug effects in depmosive disorder-s (1965) . These
presentations were primarily focmsed on human observations .
In the recent Society of Biological Psychiatry meting mime).
and lumen EEG data were brought together on the special subject

of "Nztioholimrgio Heliucinogens." Participants in this

sympoeimn included [no Abood, Richard White, Mam 11:11, and

and beam of time limitations barely presented the raw material
of which “men was a omeidemble anomt. (If you wish, I om
send you draft copies of those muscripte.) As the subject
was of peat interest, perhaps a similar subject can be considered
in brain
for the CINP. The problem of cholimrgic
Emotion is of mtual interest, and such a subject would permit
dismeime of antidmlimrgic dmge including hellucinogens ,
