Enclosed are four reports which relate to the problem of individual differences in response to pharmacol therapy. The off-print regarding carbined chlorpmnazine~procyclidine in depressive disorders has been accepted by Jonathan for psychopharmcologia. In addition to these references , I am including a reprint of a paper entitled " Psychological Factors Affecting Individual Differences in Behavioral Response to Convulsive Therapy" . The principles discussed in this paper, I believe, are just as tme for psychotropic drugs, although we have not done as extensive a study program for drugs as we did for ECI‘. Also, there is a report by my former associate, in Psychopharuecologia V: 397,19614. In this article he describes two types of anxiety syndromes and has carried our typological assessnents further than in the reports which we worked on together. Donald F.
