Plugel, Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroloy, Chairman, Department of Neuropsychiatry of the University of Erlangen-Nfimberg, Germany for membership in the Society of Biological Psychiatry. I have known Dr. Flugel since 1958 at Rome. At that time I found of the C.I.N.P. at Itil the convocation that both he and his assistants, Dr. and Bente, were actively in— volved in psychotropic drug research. I found them most in- terested in the relationship of brain ftmctim and behavior. Indeed, Dr. Itil has joined our Institute fran Dr. Flagel's staff. I would be pleased to have Dr. Flugel a member of the Society of Biological Psychiatry and look forward to having him participate in the meetings of the Society when mnbership is accorded him.
