Another year seems to have rolled around. and we are just making
our plans for our summer vacation in conjunction with the psycho—
pharmacological meetings in Birmingham. I had hoped to be able
to visit Copenhagen this trip, but I find that my schaule is so
oomolicatod with business meetings in Tai.Awiv, Istanbul and in
England that I on going to have to forest the pleasure of meeting
with you. unless you and your friends will be attending the psyohopharmacological moorings.
The work here has gone along fairly wall, although I now realize
what others have said - that
takts two years after a move to

been dating the past few youth. the: I have been able to sit down
and review some of my work. lbo- lobotatories. however. are
functioning vosy wall. especially in neurophysiology, pharmacology,
and out eonputar tantet. Mostly. the work this year has been in
quantifying the EEG thangas with drugs, and tho methods appear

it

suitable in quantifying other analog signals such as GSR. We are
now applying this nethod to soon studies of barbiturate induced
changes in EEG, reaction time and behavioral change in a group of
long term psychotic subjects.~ This is part of one of our largest
evsloatioo of some of the factors which may lead to
programs——
long term hospitalization of the severe mentally ill.

which you are doing, but look forward to a time in the near
