Unless our present plans ohange very much, we are vietins of
the peculiar air traffic schedules which provide special rates
for twenty-one day trips. For months. Mattha and I have resented
this. and have tried to find an alternate for her to spend a
‘longer period in Europa so that she tonld include a visit to
London in this trip. However, because Jonathan‘is going with us
and because all of us wanted to visit Israel this year, we are
going to leave New York on the 4th, and plan to spend ten days or
longer in that country. For this reason (unless I can find an
additional $300 between now and than). Hertha will bu leaving the
Continent on August 26. George and his wife are involved in the
same cartel squeeze. so that he will be alone in England from the
27th on.
